Material and Design: The sole is made of durable rubber, and the shaft height reaches the ankle with a circumference of 11.81 inches. The boots incorporate a carbon-fiber toe, designed to be asymmetrical and non-metallic, offering a comfortable fit that is 15% lighter than steel. These boots are designed to meet or exceed ASTM F2412 and F2413 M I/75, C/75 EH standards.

Waterproof Feature: Equipped with KEEN.DRY, a waterproof, breathable membrane liner, these boots allow vapor to escape while keeping water out, ensuring your feet remain dry and comfortable. The Independence 6” work boots include a mesh liner that integrates seamlessly with the waterproof membrane.

Traction and Stability: The outsole is oil- and slip-resistant, constructed to be lighter weight and more durable than rubber. Featuring a 90° heel (5/8"), the boots enhance stability and help "catch or lock" the foot in place. These boots meet or exceed ASTM F1677 Mark II and ASTM F2913 standards for traction.

Support and Comfort: KEEN Luftcell air-infused PU midsoles provide weightless comfort, while a nylon shank in the midfoot supports superior torsion stability and enhances midfoot support. The boots also incorporate moisture-wicking textiles, promoting a dry and comfortable environment for your feet.
